How does scanning work?

Tap Scan a receipt and point your camera. The total, date, and provider are read entirely on your device using Apple’s Vision framework — nothing is uploaded. Always double‑check the amount; you can edit any field before saving.

What’s free, and what’s Pro?

Free: vault up to 15 receipts, scan and categorize, mark reimbursed, the Growth Projector, and Face ID lock. HSA Vault Pro ($3.99/month or $19.99/year, 7‑day free trial) adds unlimited receipts, PDF & CSV tax‑year exports, Backup & Restore to iCloud Drive, and family‑member tagging.

How do I back up or move my vault?

With Pro: Settings → Backup & Restore → Back Up Vault saves a file to your iCloud Drive. On another device, tap Restore from Backup and pick that file. Your vault is also part of your iPhone’s normal nightly iCloud backup.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Settings → Manage Subscription (or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Subscriptions auto‑renew until cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.

Privacy Policy

Effective June 14, 2026

The short version: HSA Vault collects nothing. There are no accounts, no logins, no servers, no analytics, no tracking, and no ads. Your medical receipts stay on your iPhone — and, only if you choose, in your own private iCloud. We never see your data because there is nowhere for it to go.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or have access to any personal information, medical information, receipts, photos, or usage data. HSA Vault has no backend servers operated by us.

Where your data lives

Everything you put into HSA Vault is stored locally on your device. Receipt scanning uses Apple’s on‑device Vision framework — images are never uploaded by us. Backup & Restore (optional, Pro) writes a file to your own iCloud Drive, governed by Apple’s iCloud terms; we have no access to it. Face ID / Touch ID is used only to unlock the app on your device.

Purchases

HSA Vault Pro is sold through Apple’s App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes all payments. We do not receive your name, card number, or other payment details — only Apple’s confirmation that a subscription is active on your device.

Third parties & children

HSA Vault includes no third‑party SDKs, advertising, analytics, or trackers, and shares nothing with anyone. It is a general‑purpose record‑keeping tool, not directed to children, and knowingly collects no information from anyone.
